Feel Center

Services

Four services: nursery, inclusion, a safe separation, and therapy.

Nursery

Nursery

A learning environment that supports the whole child and prepares them for school.

The nursery offers a structured program that answers the stages of a child’s growth.

The day balances routine, movement, food, and health. The week covers developmental areas inside a monthly theme tied to the child’s own experience.

Yearly developmental goals are spread across four terms. At the end of each term, parents receive a report of what was gained and what we recommend.

Guidance and contact with parents continue, with referral to specialists in the center when needed. Advisory support is available for children’s sleep, nutrition, physical activity, and licensed midwifery.

Who it is for

Children from 4 months until the year before school, and their parents, especially working mothers who need care during the working day.

Ages

  • A monthly theme tied to the child’s experience
  • Developmental follow-up across four terms
  • A report for parents at the end of each term
  • Family guidance
  • Advice on sleep, nutrition, physical activity, and licensed midwifery

What we are working toward

Preschool skills, social adaptation, balanced cognitive and physical growth, and independence in self-care and age-appropriate choices.

Early childhood educators, with consultants in psychology, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, education, nutrition, sleep, sport, and licensed midwifery.

Inclusion in the nursery

Inclusion in the nursery

Children take part in the daily group, with support matched to each child.

Children with developmental challenges join the regular nursery group. Daily activities are planned so the child can adapt and grow, and so the group learns to make room.

Who it is for

Preschool children who need a developmental support plan and early inclusion, and their families.

Ages

The preschool years.

What it includes

  • Periodic assessment of strengths and needs, and inclusion goals
  • Individual inclusion plans
  • Guidance for parents on support at home
  • Referral to medical or therapy services outside the center when needed

What we are working toward

Stronger social and educational adaptation, narrower developmental gaps, and preparation for an inclusive school.

The team

Inclusion and special education specialists, with the therapy team and the parents.

A safe separation

A safe separation

A gradual move from home to nursery, for the child and the parents.

The service eases separation anxiety through a slow start, clear contact with parents, and guidance for worry at home and in the nursery.

Who it is for

New children and their parents when worry is tied to the first separation.

Ages

The preschool years.

What it includes

  • A gradual increase in hours
  • Guidance for parents on the plan and on follow-up at home
  • Time for parents’ questions, and regular follow-up

What we are working toward

The child settles in the new place, worry eases, and trust grows between the family and the center.

The team

The educational counselor and the child’s nursery teachers.

Therapy

Therapy

Speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, and psychological support.

A specialist team works with developmental, language, motor, and behavioral challenges. Inside the nursery, that makes early notice possible, and it lets the team adapt strategies in the child’s actual day.

Parents have guidance sessions, home strategies, and referral to medical or outside specialists when needed. The team is trained in augmentative and alternative communication. A sensory room and therapy tools are available.

Who it is for

Preschool children with a developmental delay, difficulty communicating, or sensory and motor challenges; people of other ages who need functional, language, or motor rehabilitation; and families.

Ages

The preschool years, and other ages when rehabilitation is needed.

What it includes

  • Assessment and early intervention
  • Speech and language therapy
  • Occupational therapy
  • Psychological and educational support
  • Family guidance
  • A sensory room, and augmentative and alternative communication

What we are working toward

Growth in developmental, language, motor, and sensory skills, more ease and independence, and clearer follow-up at home.

The team

Speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, inclusion and special education specialists, and the psychological and educational counselor, with the early childhood team and the parents.
